Speaking at the launch, the National Coordinator of the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship, Pastor Francis Fosu said this year’s event will also tackle the pertinent issues such as homosexuality, abortion, alcoholism that has engulfed the tertiary institutions.

He noted that Glory 2015 will also address the challenges of students which compel them to resort to demeaning practices and also equip them with skills for all round academic success.

Pastor Fosu urged the youth to come in their numbers to experience the power of God which will liberate them from the bondage of sin.

Also, the National Administrator of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor David Obeng underscored the need for the world of God to be imbibed in the youth.

According to him, tertiary institutions have now become the breeding ground for moral decadence hence the need for the church to save the souls of innocent children for God.

“The work on our campus is very enormous and we must tackle it with all the passion it deserves otherwise our society is at risk of divine destruction,” he stressed.

Pastor Obeng believes catching them young through the youth congress will reduce negative vices in society.

For his part, the Executive Secretary of the National Media Commission, George Sarpong who was the special guest of honor admonished the youth to be Christ Ambassadors.

“So many things may look right in the eyes but it might not be so in the sight of God [so] let the world follow you not you following the world” he stressed.

George Sarpong commended the church for leading in the crusade to win more souls for Christ.
