CEPS boss Wallace Akondor fired

Information gathered has that the commissioner of the Customs Excise and Preventive Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority Wallace Kofi Akondor has been fired.

He has been replaced by John Vianney Kuudamnuru, who until his appointment was Head of Imports and Exports at the headquarters of the Service.

Akondor was appointed commissioner May 5, 2014 in a major shake-up which saw him replacing Isaac Ofoe Apronti.

Sources at the Office of the President have confirmed the news to Starr News, saying a statement will be issued to that effect soon.
