Founder of the Glorious Wave International Church Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi says Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan cannot escape the calling of God.
According to him, the 29-year-old just needs direction in order to have a clear picture of what the future holds for him.
“He has the calling [of God] on him,” Prophet Kobi stated on Restoration with Stacy show on Saturday, July 11.
He said a number of symbolic events in the life of the professional footballer have been connived at by Gyan, who is the highest scoring African player in the world cup.
He cited the circumstances under which Gyan’s mum died – through a motor accident – and disappearance of his friend and musician, Castro, as events that should have hit the now Shanghai SIPG striker to seek the face of God over his life.
“He must allow investigations into his past and his future,” the man of God said.
According to Prophet Kobi, despite claims that he is mentally tough, Asamoah Gyan rather needs toughness.
The prophet was the first to prophesy about hi-life musician Ofori Amponsah, who is now an evangelist and prophet.
