In-form Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Ahmed Adams Nuhu Kanda has revealed his desire to win the MTN FA Cup insisting that it will be the biggest thing in his football career on the local front.
The former Berekum Chelsea center back maintains that he has won almost every trophy on the local scene and that it is his dream to win the FA Cup to complete his local chain of trophies.
Ahmed Adams who won the local premier league and the President Cup with Berekum Chelsea has had a feel of the Caf Champions League with the Berekum outfit and has revealed his long desire to win the FA Cup.
“In my career as a footballer, I have won almost every important trophy on the local scene except the FA Cup. I have won the league and the President Cup as well as winning gold with the Black Meteors at the All African Games in Maputo. It is the biggest thing I am expecting to happen in my life”, Ahmed said in an interview.
“I have been training harder ahead of the final after beating Aduana Stars and hope to get the best of the day. Kotoko is a big club and winning the FA Cup with them will be historic”, he added.
Asante Kotoko will be playing Tarkwa based Medeama SC in the finals of the 2015 MTN FA Cup after beating Aduana Stars 3-1 in the first semi final while their competitors defeated Glorious Hearts of Oak by 2-1.
