Bismark The Joke
Actor Bismark Nii Odoi known in showbiz as Bismark The Joke has described Food and Drugs Authority law which states that celebrities cannot advertise for alcoholic drinks as foolish.
The FDA somewhere in March issued a directive banning celebrities from advertising for any alcoholic beverage in Ghana.
The ban according to FDA, is to protect the interests of underage fans of popular personalities because advertising for alcoholic beverages have the tendency of luring the personalities’ underage fans into engaging in alcoholism which is against the law.
Bismark The Joke pouring his anger on instagram said:
“So wait oo, this Ghana Food And Drugs Board People that they said celebrities should be ban from liquor adverts, I want to ask them this sensible question, if they use someone who’s not a star for the adverts and later the person becomes a star/celebrity what next , we should be very careful in this country hmmm …. Just lost a contract bcus of this foolish law”
