The Accra high court, human rights division has humiliated Isaac Tetteh Agbo the former municipal chief executive of Lower Manya for lying and charged him for perjury about his permanent place of abode.

Isaac Tetteh Agbo who swore in his affidavit to the court that he lives in Odumase-Krobo but during cross examination 9th July 2015 at the human rights division of the high court in Accra stated that he lives in Accra.

This testimony when pointed out to the Judge by Okletey Terlabi’s lawyer infuriated the learned Judge and subsequently charged him for perjury and was handed a month jail sentence.

His lawyer however pleaded with the judge for leniency after which he was fined Ghc5000 to be paid immediately or in default spend one month in jail at the Nsawam Maximum Security Prison.

Case adjourned to 17 July 2015.
