Black Stars of Ghana and Udinese midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has revealed his profound love for premier league side Asante Kotoko saying he is 120% fan of the Kumasi based club.
“ I’m 120% Asante Kotoko fan, I love the team and when the club approached me I took only one second to make my decision, if Kotoko hadn’t come I will have played for Hearts of Oak because I was doing my work and i like their character which Kotoko don’t have,” Agyemang Badu told Metro TV.
Agyemang Badu in the 2008/09 league season before joining Asante Kotoko on a sixth months loan was linked with a move to Hearts of Oak after his wonderful display for Berekum Arsenal earning him a national team call up into the Black Satellites team[U-20] and the Local Black team.
The 26 year old enforcer due to national team invitation played only two games for Asante Kotoko in his six months loan losing 1-2 to Hearts of Oak in Kumasi and beating Tema Youth 3-2 in Accra.
Agyemang Badu is currently in Ghana for holidays and he has been linked with a move to Premier League side, Stoke City.
