I Will Go The Extra Mile

Newly-elected NPP MP for Abura Asebu Kwamankese, Elvis Morris Donkoh, has told NPP presidential candidate Nana Akufo-Addo in plain words that he will go the extra mile for the party and Ghana as a whole.

To him, his election as NPP’s parliamentary candidate comes with a lot challenges, but he indicated that he has positioned himself well to surmount every challenge that will come his way should he get the opportunity to represent his constituency in Parliament come 2016.

Morris Donkoh attributed his victory to team effort and the many developmental projects and charity works he is embarking on.

Notwithstanding the victory, Morris Donkoh told Nana Addo at his (Nana) Nima residence that he would not relent on his efforts, rather, he mentioned that ‘the bigger task lies ahead so I together with my team will not relent; I will go the extra mile Nana to ensure that the lives of people in my constituency are improved.

‘Already, I have embarked on many charity projects which I think should be taken to a higher dimension because our people deserve better. We will work harder to ensure victory in 2016.’

Nana Addo in return promised him and his constituency executives his full support to ensure that they remained united and fight for the common goal of wresting power from the ruling NDC in 2016.

Nana said, ‘I want to first of all congratulate you for an incident-free election. Ghanaians are crying for us to return to power. Thankfully, Kufuor left us a good legacy which we can build on to put the economy back on track. It is possible, let’s remain united.

‘You can count on me for unity, my doors are always opened, let me know if you need myself around anytime, I will make myself available.’
