A leaked secret audio recording in circulation has two Hearts of Oak players ridiculing the club’s recent slump in form and predicting more doom.

The duo (identities withheld) seemed happy with the club’s patchy run, chided management for failing to honour their financial obligations and also questioned the competence of head coach Herbert Addo.

They confirmed recent media reports that players have not been paid for months-which management has consistently denied.

Although unverified, it is believed the conversation took place after last Sunday’s 2-1 home defeat to Sekondi Hasaacas.

One of the voices said: Our next games won’t be any different. Look, it’s Aduana Stars next followed by Heart of Lions. (He giggles). That’s’ what will happen……You just sit there unconcerned…there is no money in anyone’s account.

They (Hearts) say they have paid to the bank but there is nothing to show for it.”

The other player, who was substituted in the defeat to Hasaacas also added: “But it’s a game…if we have conceded a goal early in the game the coach should be aware there will be some frustration and if I messed up a pass….there is no show of patience rather pressure to make me commit more mistakes.. Does this coach even know what I can do in a game, then you make a substitution based on supporters reaction.”

Hearts of Oak are 12th on the league table.
