Executive Director of the International Trade Institute for West Africa (ITIWA), Ms Getrude Nimako-Boateng has authored a book themed “High School Students; Your Guide For Success”.

The book is a motivational and thought-provoking piece to encourage high school students to make the right choices that will pave the way for the completion of their studies and set the stage for a fulfilling adult life.

The book, which is in three parts, clearly explains what students must do, what they can do with caution and what they must absolutely avoid if they are to succeed in their studies.

Filled with real life stories including personal experience while in high school, Ms. Nimako-Boateng elaborates in vivid detail, how students can focus on their studies, work hard to achieve their goal and seek help when faced with challenges.

She acknowledges that being in high school is already an enormous opportunity and students must seize this opportunity, build on it and make a constructive contribution to the society.

Since the launch of the book, it has gained positive responds from its readers.

As one who has been working with young people for three decades now, I can testify that this book is one of the best which will help them in their lives.

“As chaplain-administrator-teacher-counsellor, I would like to have this book on my shelves, at the office, at the church, and at home; this way I can refer to it in my regular dealings with the precious, often times confused young ones who flock to me for support.

I commend the author for being that wise, loving, selfless and gentle parent who does not seek to judge, but to support and walk with our youth through these hard times, into freedom, good health and success.

This book is a must read for pastors, school administrators, teachers, parents, and the youth themselves”, Very Reverend Father Professor Anthony Afful-Broni, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Chaplain, University of Education,Winneba, Ghana said.
