Former Asante Kotoko defender Gideon Baah says he is amazed by his former sides struggles in the league this season.
Kotoko have struggled to put up consistent performance this season and are tipped to lose their league title for the first time in three seasons.
The Porcupine warriors were defeated by bitter rivals Hearts of Oak on penalties to lift the President cup on Wednesday afternoon, a performance that did not go down well with their fans.
Having played for the Porcupine warriors in two seasons Baah says he is surprised by the teams struggles.
“Kotoko is a team that holds very big importance to me because they gave me a lot in my career,” Baah said.
“I am really surprised the way things are going but sometimes football is that way.”
“You do all you can but the ball won’t just go in.”
Kotoko are 8th on the league table and 9 points off first place AshGold.
