Inter Allies deputy skipper Baba Mensah has indicated that he is not happy with his output so far in the Ghana Premier League despite his crucial role for his side in the current season.

The 20-year-old Ghana U23 centre-back has been a pillar at the back for the Tema-based club and has also scored three goals so far this term, helping to push the team to middle of the league table.

Baba scored the winner on Sunday at the Tema Sports Stadium when Inter Allies humbled high-flying Wa All Stars by a lone goal in Match Day 20.

“The feeling was so great because it had been a long time we won at home in this second round. I was happy for being on the score sheet,” Baba told Goal.

“Although the season has not been bad for me, I am not all that satisfied because I am on a mission and I need to fulfil it before I would be fine.”

Baba added “The game against Wa All Stars was very difficult, but we were determined and mentally tough. We dominated, but wasted a lot of chances. All the same, we got the needed goal. Wa All Stars played very well.”

The former Ghana U20 star, who is now a member of the local Black Stars, also stressed that he would work hard to earn an invitation to Ghana national team.

“It is every player’s dream to get a call up to the Black Stars. If God opens the way for me, I will do my best
