The month of Ramadan is highly regarded as one that has unprecedented blessings for which reason Muslims are impressed upon not just to do good but to share with each other even if that means sharing one palm date with the rest of humanity.
It’s in this light that Hajia Khasida, wife of Hon. Inusah Fuseini today presented some items to the Abu-bakr Siddique Social Centre, an orphanage based in the Tamale Metropolis. Mrs. Inusah presented 5 bags of Rice, 5 bags of Sugar, 5 cartons of Tea, 4 cartons of milo tin, 6 cartons of milk , 20 bags of sachet water, some assorted items and an undisclosed number of clothes to the centre to help in the upkeep of the home.
Mrs. Inusah in a short address thanked the management of the home for their relentless efforts towards the running of the orphanage and called on all and sundry to come on board. For “What we do for ourselves dies with us, but What we do for others and the world that brings them smiles remains and is immortal”, Hajia Khasida added.
Management on their part thanked and evoked the blessings of Allah on Hajia Khasida for such philanthropic gesture and reiterated that, the donation couldn’t have come at any better time than now since the centre was running short of some items. They assured the donor that the items will be put to good use.
