Government has announced changes in the hierarchy of some public institutions and agencies including the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) which has a new Chief Executive Officer in the person of Kingsley Awuah Darko.
Until his appointment, Darko was acting MD of BOST and he is taking over from Dr Alphone Kwao Dorcoo, who is heading to the Ministry of Petroleum.
According to the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, the changes are part of President John Dramani Mahama’s ongoing restructuring of the leadership of government agencies.
The wind of change also hit the Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) where a Deputy Executive Director, Justice Tsar, has been appointed Acting Executive Director to replace Kweku Biadela Mortey whose contract appointment after his retirement has expired.
George Atta-Boateng of the Ghana Education Service becomes the Acting Director General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) following the appointment of William Tevie as Acting Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA).
