Jospong Boss Engages Muslim Journalists

The Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of Jospong Group of Companies, Dr. Siaw Agyepong has called on the Ghanaian Muslim community to use the one month fasting period to reflect on what they can do to move Ghana forward in the right direction.

He said the holy month of Ramadan is a sacred month which is not only for Muslims but for every human being to take advantage of to pray for mother Ghana .

The Jospong Boss was speaking during the occasion of the maiden edition of a Ramadan interaction between Him and a cross section of Muslim journalists in the media in Accra.

He advised against blaming the President or Government on the current economic and other crises bedeviling the country. โ€˜โ€™ We as individuals have crucial roles to play in helping propel our beloved Ghana to the right pedestal that it deserves โ€˜โ€™ he added.

According to him, the meeting is to provide participants the opportunity to conscientise our minds to live godly lives as believers.

Dr. Siaw Agyapong donated the sum of GHC 20.000 to the Muslim journalists and advised for the money to be used for a judicious course that will go a long way to benefit majority of the people.

On his part, Alhaji Bature, the Managing Editor of the Al-Haj newspaper , an Accra based private newspaper, entreated Muslims to retraced their steps and reconnect with the Almighty Allah.

Alhaji Bature advised Ghanaian Muslims to believe in Allah and to be law abiding as well as contribute their quota meaningfully to the socio economic development of Ghana .

In his sermon, Sheikh Bagaya Hussein Mohammed, the host of IQRA on TV3, said Ramadan is an important Month within the Muslim calendar year which affords every Muslim the opportunity to retune their lives on how well they relate to Him and their fellow mankind.

The Month of Ramadan Sheikh Bagaya noted has enormous opportunities which all Muslims must take advantage of.

The maiden engagement between the Jospong Group of Companies Boss and the Muslim Journalists was chaired by Alhaji A.M Gomda of the Daily Guide and witnessed by other noble Muslim journalists as Alhaji Issah Monnie , formerly of TV3 , Mr . Moro Awudu, the CEO of Radio XYZ, AN Accra based private radio station.
