Madman butchers pregnant wife; kills son, 2 others

A mentally retarded man has reportedly butchered four persons, including his pregnant wife and seven-year-old son at Pabi in the West Akim Municipality of the Eastern region.

Two of the victims including the infant died instantly while the rest are currently receiving treatment at the Asamankese Government Hospital.

The bodies of the deceased have also been deposited at the Morgue of the hospital.

Reports that the assailant was bathed with acid when he was caught by residents of the community Wednesday evening.
