ATV Honoured By Mens Health Organization

Amansan Television (ATV) has received an appreciation award from Men’s Health Organization (MHO) last Sunday at a prostate cancer screening programme which was held at Dodowa.

The president of MHO, Dr. Raphael Nyakutey Obu during the presentation noted that out of all the media houses in the capital it is only Amansan Tv that offered their support and platform in creating awareness and campaigning against this dangerous cancer without any hesitation.

‘It is only ATV that gave us this opportunity without demanding for money and aside that also gave us their full support. On behalf of MHO, I will like to say we appreciate them so much and they should continue their good work as a media house’ he stated.

Ms Henrita Adom, channel manager for ATV after the presentation expressed her heart felt gratitude to MHO.

‘Women have dominated our churches and hospitals, these are areas we can only count a few number of men so most men don’t really pay attention or hardly check up their health status. But today ATV have engaged itself with MHO to help educate men on the need for health check up and especially create an awareness on this deadly cancer. Our vision is to kick prostate cancer out of the African continent and once we have started, I believe we will surely end it successfully’ she said.

The programme was organized by Men’s Health Organization in partnership with Amansan Television and sponsored by Rock Care Clinic.
