School Director Killed

Tragedy stuck at the Complex Leader Worldwide Service – a private basic bilingual school close to De Youngsters School, at the Nima residential area in Accra – when the director of the former was found dead in the computer laboratory of the school.

The man, identified as Jerome Nutsegah, owner and director of the school, was reportedly discovered dead yesterday morning with bruises all over his face, as he was sitting on one of the chairs in the laboratory.

He was partially naked with his pair of trousers drawn down, revealing his boxer shorts, while his shirt was purportedly found on the floor soaked with blood.

There was also blood oozing from his nostrils while some dropped from where he lay to his apartment.

Eyewitness account indicated that the director, who lived in the school, was seen hale and hearty on Monday – a day before his body was discovered.

‘When the body was discovered, we also realized that he had eaten some mangoes and Ceres Fruit Juice, as the leftovers were seen at the scene, he claimed.

The eyewitness said the spots of blood discovered presupposed that he might have been murdered.

Madam Delight Agbesi, a teacher of the school who first discovered the body, told the paper that she reported at the school around 8:00 am and after going about her daily duties, she decided to enter the computer laboratory to check if the place was in order.

‘It was there that I saw my director sitting on one of the chairs dead but with the head on the table while his shoes were removed and shirt off. The shirt and the shoes were on the floor in the room,’ she narrated. Some parents corroborated what Madam Agbesi said.

The body has since been deposited at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
