Director of operations of Victor’s foundation for education and development, Yusif Umar has appealed to the people of Abuakwa north to support in the development of the constituency instead of allowing politics to take over their minds on projects meant to better the lives of citizens.
He has however called on all to support the foundation to enable them achieve their goal of helping in the development of the area.
Mr. Umar disclosed this to the reporter in an exclusive interview at Kukurantumi in the east akyem municipality.
According to him, the foundation was set up by Ghana’s high commissioner to United Kingdom who was former eastern regional minister and parliamentary aspirant in the 2012 elections, Ambassador Victor Smith.
“We are here to help in terms of education, health, sanitation and developmental projeects as a way of improving lives of the people” he added.
Mr. Yusif Umar emphasised that the foundation has all communities within Abuakwa north at heart and pledged to ensure each community gets its fair share of their services when the need arises. He also urged all to join them since their activities are non-partisan.
“Every one in the constituency can testify to the development commitment of ambassador when he was regional minister and i can say on authority that he’s ready to do more in terms of development” mr. Umar explained.
He therefore appealed to everyone to be part of the wealthy course to benefit all.
Meanwhile, 1,000 copies of branded exercise books were given to brilliant but needy students as part of this year’s ohumkan festival.
