Fast rising young Ghanaian singer, Adomaa, has intimated she did not expect to attain celebrity status “this soon” and be receiving the kind of publicity she is currently enjoying.

“I didn’t see this coming in a million years” said the musician in an interview on the Starr Drive on Starr 103.5FM, Tuesday.

Adomaa, was in March 2015 featured in The Guardian UK’s – most powerful female voices on the African continent as ‘the voice of the future’ She debuted her solo single with a mashup of Sarkodie and Stonebwoy’s Baafira.

The talented ‘sweetheart’ told Anita Erskine she wants to take Ghanaian and African music globally.

“You couldn’t have said it better. That’s the whole point with the label I’m signed to, Vision Inspired Music – VIM for short, and the whole point is to revolutionise music made in Ghana and take it out to the rest of the world,” she assured.

Adomaa who broke on the scene with mashups said she is not worried her brand would be disturbed when she starts singing her own compositions.

In a latest effort, she beautifully puts together a compilation of mainstream Nigerian songs the way she has done for previous covers.
