Muniru Sulley has revealed his elder brother Sulley Muntari of AC Milan advised him to sign for Romanian giants Steaua Bucuresti.
The 22-year-old completed a four-year deal with the Red and Blues last Thursday from another Romanian side CFR Cluj.
Muniru wants to come out of the shadows of his brother who has played for big respected European sides including former Champions League winners Inter Milan, Udinese and Portsmouth.
“Of course I talked to my brother about the offer from Steaua. He told me not to miss this chance, because it’s important team in Europe,” Muniru said.
He added: “Plus I have the chance to play in the Champions League. He encouraged me to take this opportunity. I’m likely to play in the Champions League.”
