ASTON VILLA are interested in signing Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp. The Ghanaian international enjoyed a fine debut season in the Premier League last term, earning the club’s Young Player of the Year as well as the Players’ Player of the Year award.
Arsenal are reportedly lining up a £5million move for the pacey 22-year-old, who can play as a left-back as well as a forward.
And now the Daily Mirror claim Aston Villa are showing an interest in the Foxes academy product as boss Tim Sherwood looks to add flair to his side.
Schlupp was trialled at Manchester United in 2013 under Sir Alex Ferguson, but he instead opted for first-team football at the King Power Stadium after his month’s stay at Carrington.
