I’m not a Visa racketeer – Sports Minister

The Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mustapha Ahmed has categorically denied any involvement in Visa racketeering at his ministry.

Allegations are rife that the new minister is seriously involved in fishy Visa deals by using his position to send people to New Zealand for the Under-20 World Cup.

A management member of Asante Kotoko and the club’s representative to the FA, Edmund Ackah, claimed on an Accra-based radio station that the minister had no moral right to criticise the Ghana FA since he himself was allegedly involved in criminal activities at his ministry.

Responding to the allegation on Ultimate FM, the MP for Ayawaso North, said it is baseless and hinted of going to court for redress.

“How can I get involved in Visa racketeering? That is something that you can never get me involved in,” Dr Ahmed told host Fentuo Tahiru.
