The leading oil marketing company in the country, GOIL says it is maintaining the prices of petroleum products at its filling stations despite the National Petroleum Authority’s upward adjustment of the prices of petroleum products by four percent recently.
Managing Director of GOIL, Patrick Akorli indicated that GOIL’s decision to maintain the prices was in line with the company’s corporate position of ensuring good business practices.
According to the MD, it was also to help reduce the level of attrition changes in fuel prices caused to road users and the general public at large.
‘GOIL has always put its customer’s needs first and will continue doing so to keep the good energy flowing,’ he noted.
GOIL has over 200 service stations across the country.
The price of diesel prior to the deregulation was GH¢3.24 per litre while petrol was GH¢3.33 per litre.
The prices, Mr Akorli stated, will not change immediately.
