A section of Asante Kotoko fans want Opoku Nti to voluntarily vacate his position as the General Manager of the club following their 1-2 home loss to New Edubiase.
The league champions have had poor campaign in this season’s league and after their vociferous supporters watched their idol club lose to the Edubiase lads, they have called for the resignation of Opoku Nti, the General Manager for the club.
‘Opoku Nti should resign, because things are not going on well with the club at the moment. Players are sometimes complaining of unpaid salaries’ A group of Kotoko fans told Metro fm.
The playing body of Asante Kotoko is yet to be paid their May salary.
The Porcupine Warriors have lost two successive matches in the ongoing league to Kpando Hearts and New Edubiase United and have been pushed to 11th on the league log.
