The Light Foundation Ghana set to roll June 3 Disaster Clean-Up Exercise with Force

All is set for The Light Foundation Ghana, a not-for-profit Organisation into San itation and Health to roll-up a massive clean-up exercise to get rid of debris and left- over garbages after the June 3 disaster of flood and fire which claimed 152 lives in just one day.

The clean-up exercise which is dubbed “The Light Foundation Ghana June 3 disaster Clean-up exercise” is taking place at Avenor Neoplan Station Enclave near Kwame Nkrumah Circle which is just few meters away from the disaster scene where the Goil Fuel Station has exploded by fire last Wednesday June 3, killing 152 people, leaving those who survived with various degrees of injuries.

It is expected to bring on board over 100 volunteers who will converge at the venue to help clear debris,choked gutters as well as drains and collect the rubbish away for proper disposal.

Some diginitaries from the seat of Government,religious society groups and NGOs will be joining in to willingly clean up to rid country from filth so as to avert a likely disaster in the future.

According to The Executive Director of The Light Foundation Ghana, Sheik Ali Napari , the June 3 disaster exercise his outfit is organizing seeks to compliment Governments effort to rid the country of filth to avoid future occurence of disasters of flood and fire.

Zoomlion and Accra Metropolitan Assembly will be there to support the good work of The Light Foundation Ghana(TLF) to make the exercise a sucess.
