American Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire have taken to their official Twitter handle to congratulate Ghana attacker David Accam for scoring his debut goal for the Black Stars.

Accam had replaced Leicester City attacker Jeffrey Schlupp in the dying embers of the tie at the Accra Sports Stadium yet to managed to record his name on the score-sheet.

The 24-year-old was making his fourth appearance for Ghana and he made his presence felt with a last-gasp strike for Avram Grant’s side.

Fire who suffered a painful away loss in the MLS on Saturday without the Ghanaian international took to their official Twitter page to express their joy for the attacker.

Congrats to @iamdavidaccam on scoring his first goal in a @ghanafaofficial shirt today! http://t.co/kCGLx0nBJV #cf97 pic.twitter.com/3u3DBfr8Ye
