A female prison officer may have let an inmate escape because he was well endowed in the trouser department. Joyce Mitchell, who works at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannermora, U.S., is currently being interrogated about the escape of two inmates where she worked. Scoop reports:

After David Sweat, 34, and Richard Matt, 48, managed to break out of jail over the weekend by tunnelling through the prison, questions were asked about how they managed to get away unseen. And one man thinks he has the answer. ‘When he’s cleaned up, [Richard] is very handsome and, in all frankness, very well endowed. He gets girlfriends any place he goes’ said ex detective David Bentley, suggesting he may have been able to sway a prison officer to his will.

The men’s Prison Break esque escape involved blasting through several walls, walking on a catwalk six stories high, and clambering through a manhole cover about a mile away from the prison to complete their escape. They had also arranged their beds so it looked like people were sleeping. The escaped cons are still at large, with police hunting them in both the U.S. and Canada.
