Ex-Ghana international striker George Arthur is reported dead in Sunyani.
Arthur was reported to have collapsed while playing draught with friends on Sunday afternoon and was rushed to the Brong Ahafo Regional Hospital in Sunyani.
He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Arthur, nicknamed ‘King George’ was a Ghana Premier League legend where he made the mark with BA United and Asante Kotoko.
He was had a successful spell in Egypt.
Arthur was a member of the Ghana squad which suffered early elimination at the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
