Well Win 2016

NANA ADDO Dankwa Akufo-Addo, presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged Ghanaians to have trust in him and vote for him in 2016 because he is confident of winning hands down.

“I have a vision for Ghana; I’m not corrupt and will never steal Ghana’s money into my pocket. Trust in me and vote for me as the next president to develop the country,” Nana Akufo-Addo appealed at a brief meeting with NPP delegates from Abuakwa South in Kyebi, Eastern Region, yesterday.

He said in the 2016 general elections Ghanaians will give him the mandate to lead the country and clear the mess the NDC has caused. ‘Whether the NDC likes it or not I, Nana Akufo-Addo, will never lose it by the grace of God; I will be the president of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.”

Nana Akufo-Addo posited that God had already spoken and that it was only left with Ghanaians to endorse him to save the country from the economic hardship the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, headed by President Mahama, has visited on them.

He was optimistic that since Ghanaians have lost confidence in the NDC government, the NPP is their only hope and therefore urged the delegates to work hard after tomorrow’s parliamentary primaries for the party to come to power.

The NPP presidential candidate charged delegates who are going to vote in tomorrow’s election to conduct themselves well and ensure that the exercise comes off without any acrimony.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, delegates of the NPP must see the contest as one among members of one family.

He made this call when he visited the Abuakwa North and South constituencies yesterday to observe the preparations being made for tomorrow’s primaries and to interact with the constituents.

The NPP flagbearer met the parliamentary aspirants for Abuakwa South and their representatives, the incumbent MP, Lawyer Samuel Atta Kyea, and the delegates at Kyebi.

Nana said Ghana needs development but the NDC government has no vision to help the country to achieve this but is rather creating, looting and sharing.

Unity
Nana Addo, who has been pontificating on unity among the rank and file of the party, reiterated his plea and called on the delegates to choose a marketable and winnable candidate who will help the party to win the 2016 general elections.

Nana entreated the delegates and all the constituents to fully rally behind whoever emerges victorious in Saturday’s primaries, as that candidate would in turn back him to win the 2016 presidential poll. He wished all the aspirants across the country well.

From the Abuakwa South constituency, Nana Akufo-Addo moved to Abuakwa North, where he interacted with two aspirants – J.B. Danquah Adu, the incumbent MP and lawyer Kay Amoah, his challenger.

He was accompanied on the visit by Dr Kwame Addo Kufuor, Yaw Osafo-Maafo and Hackman Owusu Agyeman – elders of the party.
