Ghana defender Baba Rahman finished Bundesliga season with most crosses in open play

Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman emerged as the player with the highest number of crosses in the just ended season in the German top flight.

The 20-year-old is reported by the Bundesliga to have provided a total of 120 crosses in open play while helping Augsburg to an Europa League finish in the just ended campaign.

Rahman is top in a 10-man shortlist with the highest number of crosses.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s Timothy Chandler is in second place with 97 crosses while Suleyman Koc of Paderbon and Wolfsburg’s Vieirinha are in 3rd and 4th respectively.

Baba Rahman has come off an impressive debut season with Augsburg which has seen his performance attract interested from top European clubs.

The former Greuther Furth left-back’s statistics for the season have been simply amazing with the recent being the player with the highest number of crosses in open play for the 2014/15 Bundesliga season.
