First draw of GCB Bank’s ‘BIG MONEY PROMO’ held

Accra, June 12, GNA – The first draw of the ‘BIG MONEY PROMO’ organised by the GCB Bank Limited has been held in Accra on Thursday with the selection of five winners.

They are Sebuabeh Makafui K, Tema Main Branch; Yusif Labaran, Efiduase Branch; Adwoa Pinaman Afrifa, Ejisu Branch; Victor and Gifty Ankora, Republic House Branch; and Osei Gyau Thomas of the Dormaa Ahenkro Branch.

Sebuabeh Makafui, the first prize winner won a 5KVA Generator, while Yusif Labaran the second prize winner took home a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, with Adwoa Pinaman Afrifa, the third winner taking home a IKVA Generator.

For their prize for taking the fourth position, Victor and Gifty Ankora walked home with GH¢3,000.00 whereas Osei Gyau Thomas the fifth prize winner went home with GH¢ 2,000.00.

In an address, Mr Samuel Sarpong, Chief Operations Officer, GCB Bank Limited, said the Bank was repositioning itself as a modern, progressive and customer-centered bank.

‘We are also rolling out exciting products and services that will improve customers’ investments and create wealth for them,’ he said.

Mr Sarpong said the ‘BIG MONEY PROMO’ was the first to be launched, after the bank’s re-branding in September last year.

‘Customers and prospective customers have to top-up or open an account with GH¢500.00 or multiples of which is held for a period of six months to enable them to qualify and benefit from the promotion’, he said.

He said this initial draw was the first of five more draws to be held from now to the end of October, with the ultimate winner taking home GH¢300,000.00.

He urged customers both new and old to deposit their money with GCB, as they stood the chance of winning great prizes in the promo, adding that, ‘customers can earn interest on their deposits with their monies remaining intact,’ he said.
