Kogi Warns Kidnappers To Desist Or Face Full Wrath Of The Law

Gov-Idris-WadaThe Kogi State Government has vowed to invoke the full weight of the law on anybody found guilty of kidnapping and other violent crimes in the state.

Kogi has witnessed an increasing wave of kidnapping with the recent abduction and subsequent rescue of a serving commissioner the peak of such dastardly acts.

The warning by the government, which was contained in a statement signed by the State Security Adviser, retired Air Commodore Matis Abdullahi, urged parents, community leaders, traditional institutions, religious groups and other interest groups in the state to caution their members, who may be involved in criminal activities, to desist from it.
