Italian job: Owusu-Abeyie considering Serie A adventure

Qunicy Owusu-Abeyie says he would relish the chance to play in the Italian Serie A one day.

The Ghana international’s contract with Boavista was terminated in April this year by mutual consent  and he is yet to sign for a new club.

The ex-Arsenal winger is looking forward to play in Serie A, which he sees as one of the best leagues in the world

Owusu-Abeyie told Tutto Mercato Web: “Sure, I would like to play in Italy, it would be great!”

“Italy has always been a land of great talent. I wish I could show my qualities in a tough league like the Italian one.”

He added: “I have spoken to several players and everyone speaks well about Italian football.”

“Kwadwo Asamoah for example, he told me that is a very physical league and where the training is very important. Surely it would be a nice experience for me.”
