France-born Ghanaian defender Jerry Vandam is on the verge of canceling his contract with Belgian Pro League side Waasland-Beveren due to lack of playing time.

The 26-year-old has tasted only 11 games in all competitions this season, prompting his decision to cancel his contract with the side.

Vandam is being believed to be courted by Lierse and Lokeren as he seeks a move away for regular playing time.

The former KV Mechelen man is the nephew of ex-Ghana international Alex Nyarko.

He has expressed his desire to represent Ghana at the international level.
