Ghana star Andre Ayew set to snub Swansea for Serie A move

Andre Ayew is set to snub the Premier League in favour of a move to Serie A instead, according to TalkSport.

The Ghana international is currently plying his trade at French giants Marseille, but is out of contract this summer and will move away from the South of France.

Ayew had been courting interest from several Premier League clubs, and it is reported that Tottenham, West Ham and Swansea had all offered the 25 year-old a deal.

But French sports newspaper L’Equipe reports that Serie A club Roma is Ayew’s favoured destination as the lure of Champions League football in the Italian capital could prove too tempting for Ayew.

However, the Premier League clubs might still harbour hopes of landing the Marseille winger as, according to TalkSport, the Roma deal is dependent on the Roman club offloading Radja Nainggolan.

The Belgian midfielder has been linked with Manchester United and it is thought that Roma will have to let go of him before they can commit to the kind of wage that it will take to bring Ayew to the Stadio Olimpico.
