Ghana defender Harrison Afful insists he will not be distracted by transfer talks ahead crunch encounter against Mauritius

Ghana and Esperance defender Harrison Afful says he will not be distracted by reports consistently linking his future away from Esperance.

Afful, is one of the most sort after Ghanaian players this transfer window with his contract with Esperance set to expire at the end of this month.

The former Asante Kotoko and Feyenoord academy youth product is a key member of the Esperance set up and scored the famous winner in 2011 when the Tunisian giants won the CAF Champions league trophy.

‘We have a big game against Mauritius and that is where the concentration is on at the moment,’ Afful told GHANAsoccernet.com

‘Whatever happens there will be time to decide my future but at the moment we all have to focus on the work at hand and scale pass Mauritius.’

Afful was an unused substitute in Ghana’s 1-0 victory over Togo in a preparatory game against Togo but should be ready to start against Mauritius over the weekend.
