Serie A calling: ‘Come to Italy’ – Agyemang Badu tells Dede

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has no doubt whatsoever that international teammate, Andre Ayew will be a success in Italy should the 25 year old sign for a Serie A club.

Free agent Ayew has left Marseille due to the imminent expiration of his contract with the club where he began his career.

The son of Abedi Pele has been linked with a host of top clubs in England, Germany and Italy with Serie A giants, Roma reportedly leading the chase for his signature even though talks appear to have broken down over monetary demands.

Reports this morning suggest English Premiership side, West Ham could seal a deal with Ayew this week with former West Ham, Tottenham and QPR also tweeting that the Ghanaian is Swansea City bound but Agyemang Badu is adamant Italy will be a very suitable destination for Dede.

Heard Swansea are close to signing Andre Ayew from Marseille. He’s on the way there with his agent Mark Mackay to do the deal. Good player. — Harry Redknapp (@Redknapp) 2013-07-22 14:22:09.0
