A top contender in the Asawase New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary elections, Manaf Ibrahim, has stressed that he is the suitable candidate for the NPP in the area.
Brimming with confidence, the young politician maintained that he had the exceptional qualities needed to snatch the famous Asawase seat from the NDC during the 2016 elections.
He consequently appealed to the party’s delegates to vote massively for him when the NPP goes to polls to elect its parliamentary candidate for the area on Saturday.
In a chat with DAILY GUIDE, Manaf, who is the immediate past Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary of the NPP, said he has a well-structured strategy to win the Asawase seat in 2016.
According to him, he has been in the local Asawase politics for a long time and is therefore well equipped and informed about what the NPP can do to win the Asawase seat.
Manaf, who was born and bred at Asawase, said aside being competent and hardworking, he is very popular among the residents of Asawase including even NDC members.
He said he has also been in active NPP politics in the Asawase constituency since he was 18 years old, noting that he has been through the mill and is now ready to become MP.
According to him, he has taken his time to learn politics over the years and is now ready to take up a responsible position like the office of the MP and bring massive development to the area.
Manaf stated that Asawase lacks several key amenities and that when elected as MP he will sacrifice his time and energy to tackle those challenges to better the lives of the people.
Sounding confident, he insisted that he would win the Asawase NPP primaries hands down on Saturday, indicating that he is the obvious choice of the party’s delegates in Asawase.
