Three Egyptian clubs ENNPI, Smouha SC and Makassa have expressed interest in signing Ghanaian defender Wilson Akakpo.
The 22-yearold is being chased by these three clubs following his exploits with Al Masry in this season’s campaign.
Akakpo has scored once this season for Al Masry in the Egyptian top flight, racking up four assists in the process.
His performance in particular against ENNPI, Smouha and Makassa has led to the clubs making informal inquiries over his availability.
The former Berekum Chelsea player is however contractually tied down to Al Masry for the next three years.
An official bid must therefore be tabled to the club to ignite any real chance of Akakpo’s exit from Al Masry.
