V.I.P JEOU Transport to Strike against Illegal Users of its Logo.

The executives of Ghana’s most popular transport organization V.I.P JEOU has given a twenty one day ultimatum to various transport organizations using the company’s trade mark (Red background with V.I.P written in white color) without authorization to remove them from their vehicles or face the full rigors of the copyright law.

Addressing a news conference in Kumasi, the Director of finance for V.I.P JEOU Prof. Dr. Lukemond Owusu Ansah indicated that some transport organizations and individuals have been using their company’s trade mark without authorization from V.I.P and that because Ghanaians do not know much about the company, they take any vehicle embossed with the trade mark as belonging to the V.I.P JEOU company Limited.

He added that there had been incidents where some of the illegal users of the trade mark mishandled passengers or their vehicles got involved in accidents but the V.I.P JEOU was rather accused, a situation which dents the image of the company.

The twenty one day ultimatum starts from the 8th of June,2015.
