Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions have appointed Eric Kutortse as the club’s first ever board chairman.
The appointment was announced on Sunday by club’s majority shareholder Randy Abbey in kpando.
Kutortse’s has been very close to the team after the takeover from Victor Ahiakpor.
The Accra-based is a road contractor and is a native of Kpando.
Announcing the appointment, Abbey said it was very difficult convincing him to come on board and take a position in the club.
‘Am very happy to announce to you that Heart of Lions football club of Kpando has a new board chairman and is in a person of Eric Kutortse,’ Abbey said.
‘He told me he was not looking or asking for shares, we are young people and I believe in what you doing, this is my community, I want to assist and help as much as I can.’
