Soyinka Tasks Buhari On Adopting New Strategy To Fight Boko Haram

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has called on the President Muhammadu Buhari to adopt a new strategy to fight Boko Haram and other insurgents in order to achieve results.

Soyinka said this in a lecture titled, “Science and imagination in a temple of knowledge”, at the third convocation ceremony of Kwara State University, Malete, yesterday.

He noted that Nigerians have not witnessed expected results because the new administration has not adopted new strategies.

He therefore challenged the government to do more to end insecurity in the country, warning that it threatens the continued existence of the temple of learning.
