Brazil Maintain 100% Record in Group E

The Junior Selecao’s maintained their 100 per cent record in Group E of the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand after beating Korea DPR by 3-0 at the Christchurch Stadium on Sunday.

After a scoreless first half, Brazil took the lead in the 60th minute courtesy Min Hyo-Song’s own goal.

Substitute Jean Carlos extended the lead for dominant Selecao’s in the 66 minutes with a pure style reminiscent of a samba play as he beat two players on his way and threw the goalie aside with a nice curler.

Leo Periera finished off the business for Brazil in the 86th minute with a timely header. Brazil will face South American opponent Uruguay in New Plymouth in the Round of 16 phase.
