Black Stars start Friday’s training session with prayers for flood, fire disaster

The Black Stars began Friday’s training session with a prayer for the victims of Wednesday’s floods and fire disaster in Accra.

Coach Avram Grant and his team started non residential camping on Thursday afternoon ahead of the 2015 AFCON qualifying match against Mauritius on Sunday June 14.

The senior national team will face neighbors Togo in a friendly Togo on Monday June 8 as they prepare for their opening qualifying match against Club M.

Striker Kwesi Appiah had to go through tests on Friday after suffering a knock in Thursday’s training session.

Monday’s test match against Togo is expected to kick off at 3:30pm.
