Joy FM, Mobile Water donates 2,000 sachet water to disaster victims

Joy FM has distributed some 2,000 bottled water to victims of Wednesday’s twin fire and flood disaster.

The water was donated by Mobile Water company as part of efforts to meet the immediate needs of the victims.

Over 150 people have been lost to the disaster but the injured and victims of the disaster are just as many.

Some of the victims are crying for relief items, including food and water.

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has been distributing blankets, cups and other materials to the victims but they are complaining of being thirsty and hungry.

On Saturday the super station met some of the needs of the victims with the distribution of water.

The station as part of its social responsibility is appealing to listeners to donate any item, ie used clothes, shoes, money, food etc to the victims.

The station will later tomorrow set up at Circle the epicenter of the disaster, receive the items and distribute immediately to the victims.
