FIFA U-20 World Cup: Selas Tetteh names starting IX for Panama encounter

Selas Tetteh has made one change in the Black Satellites squad that beat favourites Argentina 3-2 on Tuesday for the final group B game against Panama on Friday, with Patrick Kpozo making way for Joseph Aidoo.

In post will be Lawrence Ati who has been impressive in the first two games, with Kingsley Fobi, Patrick Asmah, Joseph Aidoo and Emmanuel Ntim making the back four.

Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah will sit infront of the back four, while Asiedu Attobrah will just be infront of him, with Samuel Tetteh and Yaw Yeboah on the wings.

Playmaker, Clifford Aboagye will be behind the leading attacker Benjamin Tetteh.

The Granada midfielder will captain the team in the absence of Joseph Owusu Bempah who has lost his position, after playing in Ghana’s opening game.

The Black Satellites will need at least a draw to book a place in the knockout stage of the competition.

Panama drew two all against Argentina in their opener, before losing their second game 2-1 to Austria, while Ghana drew 1-1 against Austria and edged Argentina 3-2.

Kick-off for the game is 4:00am Ghana time.
