Yvonne, Becca, Stars Storm Oxford Street

The crew took some time off to pose for a group photo.

Popular actress Yvonne Nelson and the cast of her newly produced movie, If Tomorrow Never Comes, were the centre of attention when they took to the streets on Wednesday afternoon to promote the new movie.

With Yvonne were musician Becca, Bismark The Joke, Khareemah Aguiar, Kweku Elliot, Adeyemi Okanlawon, Augusta Paris and a host of others.

They shared flyers to motorists, commuters, traders and offices along the Osu Oxford Street. They marketed the movie and asked people to come and be part of its premiere, scheduled for Friday, June 5 at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra at West Hill Mall and Accra Mall at 6pm.

It was not the first time Yvonne and her cast were out there on the streets sharing flyers. She did same with the movie, Single, Married & Complicated last year.

Currently there is a lot of buzz about the movie. It is an epic story of a young girl, Ewurabana, who was sold into slavery by her wicked uncle after her mother died leaving her and her kid brother in the village.

She went through all kinds of treatments at the hands of her handlers. There was even an attempt on her life but she escaped to the city to hawk in the streets as her only means of survival.

Yvonne announced earlier that the cast and crew of the movie might be wearing all-black outfits to the memory of Kweku, a kid whose sad story contributed to the movie’s storyline. Kweku, who played a role in the movie, unfortunately died exactly two weeks after the movie’s shoot.
