GFA/PLB sympathizes with victims of Wednesday’s rain disaster

The Ghana Football Association and the Premier League Board wishes to express its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in Wednesday’s flood and explosion of the Goil filling station in Accra, which has taken the lives of about a hundred people with many severely injured.

In sympathizing with the bereaved families and the affected victims of this catastrophic incident, a minute silence will be observed across all League centres in the match day 16 fixtures on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Players’ of the various Clubs are also to wear black armbands during the match.

We wish to once again express our heartfelt condolences to all the affected victims and pray to the Almighty God that such a disaster never visits us again.

Long Live Ghana, Long Live Football.
