Christian Atsu Tswasam has personally commended the heroics of Right to Dream Academy U-15s who have returned home from a tour of Europe where they conquered all including the youngsters of English Premier League giants, Arsenal.
The Old Akrade, Eastern Region based Academy’s Under 15s triumphed in the Marveld International Tournament beating Arsenal 4-0 in the final at the weekend.
Atsu who just sealed a loan switch to new Premier League boys, Bournemouth ahead of next season, also returned to Ghana yesterday on board a plane that was also carrying the Right to Dream youngsters to Accra.
And upon seeing their hero, the Right to Dream boys wasted no time at all in grouping around the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations MVP for a memorable selfie, a one for the album moment.
Afterwards, Atsu was all joy as he related the news to his friends and followers on social media.
“In the same flight with the Right to Dream under 15 team. They played 27 games and won all of them. The trophy is going to Ghana. Congrats to them,” stated Atsu in a Facebook post in Wednesday.
The 23 year old is expected to join the national team’s training later today ahead of next week’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations match day one qualifier against Mauritius in Accra. Follow @thedonplato
